Welcome to the College of Education

The College of Education offers programs along with Bachelor of Elementary Education, Bachelor of Secondary Education with majors in English, Filipino, and Values Education. Likewise, the College of Education offers to Non-Education students to enroll in Professional Education units to qualify them to take the Licensure Exam for Professional Teachers. The programs shall develop responsive educators and shall hone expertise for people empowerment, global competitiveness, and the development of human resources.

The College pursues the following objectives:

A. To train future teachers in the elementary level who can teach across  the learning areas in the grade school;

B. To train future teachers in the secondary level with specialization in English, Filipino, and Values Education

C. To promote and disseminate research in the fields of education and allied fields through instruction, production, and extension.

Bachelor of Elementary Education

The Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) is a four-year degree program designed to prepare students to become primary school teachers. The program combines both theory and practice in order to teach students the necessary knowledge and skills a primary school teacher needs. The program aims to produce competent teachers specializing in the pedagogical approach of education.

The Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) is a four-year degree program designed to prepare students to become high school teachers. The program combines both theory and practice in order to teach students the necessary knowledge and skills a high school teacher needs. The program aims to produce competent teachers who provide conducive learning experience to their students.
