Oral Defense (MAED/PHD)

On May 17, 2025, the Dr. Gloria D. Lacson Foundation Colleges, Inc. was successfully held the MAED and PHD ORAL DEFENSE at the Accreditation Room.

This is formal presentation and examination process, usually part of an academic degree requirement-most commonly for a master’s thesis, doctoral dissertation, or sometimes a comprehensive examination for faculty or graduate students.

It’s called a “defense” because you must justify your approaches, contributions, and impact to a panel of senior faculty or administrator. It is also a live, structured academic event where the candidate presents their research or scholarly work to a committee and answers detailed questions.
