On May 10, 2025, the Dr. Gloria D. Lacson Foundation Colleges, Inc. was successfully held the MAED and PHD ORAL DEFENSE at the Accreditation Room.

This is a formal presentation and examination process, usually part of an academic degree requirement-most commonly for a master’s thesis, doctoral dissertation, or sometimes a comprehensive examination for faculty or graduate students.

It’s called a “defense” because you must justify your approaches, contributions, and impact to a panel of senior faculty or administrator. It is also a live, structured academic event where the candidate presents their research or scholarly work to a committee and answers detailed questions.
